Infants and Toddlers are full of curiosity and imagination and this is where learning begins. Our Toddler program turns play into a meaningful learning experience. Hands-On Learning
Engage children's senses as you connect learning concepts to everyday play. Tips are included for individualizing activities for infants and older toddlers.
Simplified Assessment
Observation tips are built in to activities to help you easily track progress, record notes, and share with families.
Your infant/toddler’s progress is tracked through daily communications using a program called HiMama, which provides notes about what your child learned each day at school.
Because breastfeeding has been shown to provide a multitude of benefits to both infant and mother and because breast feeding mothers and employees need ongoing support from childcare, Little Eggs will:
- Provide a place to breastfeed or express their milk.
- A refrigerator will be made available for storage of expressed milk.
- Sensitivity will be shown to breast feeding mothers and their babies.
- Staff will be trained in handling human milk.
In addition, Little Eggs will provide information, when requested, on breast feeding, including the names of area resources should problems or questions arise. In addition, positive promotion of breast feeding will be on display in the center. Please feel free to contact the front office for more information.
